Overview

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan published an Open Banking Roadmap in October 2021 covering 2021–2025, aligned with the Law on Payment Systems and Payment Services. The CBA developed a technical platform and regulatory acts. Over 13 commercial banks have completed integration; Bank ABB and Turan Bank offer Open Banking via mobile apps enabling account aggregation and transaction viewing across banks. Expansion to payment institutions and e-money institutions planned.
